This month we hosted Mr. Stephen Bedard, CFO for the City of Charleston.
Mr. Bedard shared his inspirational story about how he went from a career in the Navy to becoming the first CFO of Charleston. Along the way he picked up knowledge and experience that eventually prepared him for the successes he is now enjoying. Because of his hard work the City of Charleston is one of the few municipalities nationwide to earn a AAA Standard and Poor's bond rating.
Mr. Bedard shared his philosophy on management and organizational behavior. He also had encouraging words for the service men and women as he assured them that their skills and knowledge are highly valued in the civilian sector.
